I offer the following treatments in my home at The Rose Room

Aroma Spa Facial

A luxury facial for the utmost in client comfort and aromatic treatment experience. Using warmed products tailored for your skin concerns with aromatic serums, this facial will soothe your skin and your mind as you drift away into the deepest feeling of relaxation.

Cosily tucked into my heated treatment couch under a soft duvet and blanket your facial will consist of a double cleanse, exfoliation, eye and face mask, facial massage, neck, shoulder, scalp and hand and arm massage. Completed with an eye treatment and moisturiser.

For your facial massage you can choose between:

Expert manual techniques - gentle, rhythmic movements and lymphatic drainage combined with acupressure. This helps to reduce tension in facial muscles, stimulate blood flow, remove toxins and reduce puffiness. This technique is helpful for pain and stiffness around the jaw caused by clenching or teeth grinding.

Hot and cold stone massage - this technique melts away tension and fatigue and firms and tones the skin. The combination of gentle massage and temperature variation helps to promote relaxation and reduce stress. Hot stones relax tense facial muscles, whilst cold stones are effective at reducing swelling and inflammation in conditions such as sinusitis.

Gua Sha - this is a Chinese facial massage technique using natural tools made from rose quartz. Deeply relaxing, soothing and calming, it lifts, contours and sculpts the skin, supporting circulation and lymphatic drainage. A clear quartz crystal eye mask helps to decrease puffiness, soothe tired eyes and release tension.

Aromatherapy Massage

Holistic aromatherapy massage is a deeply relaxing and restorative style of massage. It incorporates slow rhythmical strokes, grounding holds and gentle petrissage, combined with therapeutic essential oils to help you unwind, let go of stress and restore balance to mind and body.

Aroma De-stress

A smoothing and detoxifying full back exfoliation using a fine seaweed and salt scrub with hot towel removal is followed by a soothing and relaxing aromatherapy or hot stone back massage. A hydra thermal mask will then be applied while you enjoy a scalp or foot massage. The mask is removed with hot towels and mitts and an aromatic body serum applied.

Aroma Unwind

A relaxing and therapeutic aromatherapy full body massage to ease away tension and stress. Using a choice of expertly blended Eve Taylor massage oils, this massage includes back, neck, shoulders, legs, feet, arms, scalp and face.

Skin feeling parched? For a deeply moisturising experience let me indulge you with an Aromawax massage - rich in soya and rapeseed oil, these 100% plant wax candles will nourish your skin and the warmth will soothe your aching muscles.

You will take away an Eve Taylor Massage and Bath oil in the same blend as your treatment for home use.

Indian Head Massage

Aroma Champissage

A powerful stress-reliever, Indian head massage eases tension, promotes mental clarity and deep sense of relaxation and well-being.

This treatment begins with deep breathing technique, then a variety of massage techniques are used on the upper arms, shoulders, neck, scalp and face.

Aromatic oil blends are used throughout, chosen for their therapeutic properties to balance mind, body and soul.

Reiki

A safe and gently non-intrusive treatment to re-balance the mind, body and spirit.

Using spiritual energy without the use of pressure or manipulation, Reiki promotes a deep sense of relaxation, helps to de-stress and gives a feeling of calm, peace and well-being.

During the treatment you will lie on the treatment couch fully clothed supported by pillows and a blanket if required. Tranquil music and a diffused essential oil blend will help you to deeply relax.

We will begin with some deep breathing and visualisation and I will place my hands on or near you, beginning at the crown and working around the body, resting in each area for varying amounts of time, depending on the flow of energy.

Perfect for those needing support in physically or emotionally difficult times.

M Technique

The M Technique was created by Dr Jane Buckle RN PhD and is not massage but a method of structured touch and a holistic communication. It was developed for when massage is inappropriate, for example in healthcare, when the patient is very fragile or critically ill.

That said, this light touch treatment is wonderful for de-stressing and encourages a deep state of comfort and relaxation for anyone, particularly those feeling emotionally and/or physically fragile.

The treatment can be done through clothes and with or without oil and can be combined with aromatherapy. It uses a set pressure of 3 (where 0 is no pressure and 10 is crushing) and each stroke is repeated 3 times in a set sequence that is never modified.

The M Technique is a full body treatment and includes the back, shoulders, neck, legs, feet, arms, hands, stomach, face and scalp.

Reflexology & Foot Health

Reflexology is a safe and effective holistic therapy that helps to restore balance and activate the body’s own natural healing abilities. Pressure is applied to stimulate reflex points on the feet which correspond to all the structures, tissues, organs, glands and systems of the body. A deeply relaxing treatment, the aim is to restore balance, promote better overall physical and emotional well-being, whilst also focusing on specific areas where problems are identified.

Elim Mediheel is a medical grade treatment which used state-of-the-art ingredients to remove hard skin and calluses from the feet. Traditional methods for hard skin removal such filing, blading and harsh granular exfoliants offer a short term solution, but do not provide a sustainable approach to skin health. Harsh exfoliants can cause discomfort and irritation due to irregular size particles and the use of salt will dehydrate skin. Filing and blading sends a message to the brain via neural pathways causing overproduction of skin cells which leads to excessive hard skin and the formation of calluses.

Elim uses alkaline peeling as a safer and more efficient alternative, using active ingredients that change the pH of the skin, breaking down the bonds that bind together the dead skin cells of the epidermis. Elim products are environmentally friendly and cruelty free, containing natural ingredients and essential oils.

Aroma Rebalance

Your treatment begins with an exfoliation using a poppy seed and black pine mousse to smooth the skin, detoxify and tone, all removed with hot mitts. A rich massage cream infused with an aromatic serum is used for the reflexology treatment which concludes with a soothing foot and lower leg massage.

Aroma Rebalance with Elim

Although an effective treatment, an Elim Mediheel is still a relaxing and luxurious one..the treatment begins with the application of the alkaline tonic and gentle removal of any hard skin and calluses, the skin is then neutralised and you will then enjoy a foot and lower leg exfoliation removed with steamy, hot aromatic mitts, a foot mask with a hot soak removal containing rosemary, geranium and tea tree, a reflexology treatment and a tension releasing foot and lower leg massage.

90 minutes ~ £70
